Position Overview:

The Communication and PR Officer strengthens NCH’s reputation through clear, compliant, and consistent storytelling across internal and external channels. You will plan and deliver the day-to-day corporate communications agenda, develop content for owned platforms and media, support product and service launches, and elevate leadership visibility through interviews and thought leadership. The role partners closely with Brand, Sales, and HR, manages media and stakeholder relationships, and provides timely issues support when needed. Success is measured by quality coverage, engaged audiences, and on-time delivery of the communications calendar while safeguarding brand consistency and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

Corporate Communications

  • Manage and maintain NCH’s corporate platforms, including the website, LinkedIn, and other social channels, ensuring consistent content and community engagement.
  • Support product and service launches with strategic PR campaigns, aligning with regulatory requirements and brand positioning.
  • Develop messaging that elevates leadership visibility through interviews, media coverage, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Draft rapid-response communications in coordination with stakeholders to address issues promptly and appropriately.

Media Relations

  • Draft and distribute press releases, media statements, and briefing materials for corporate and brand-related initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, trade press, healthcare media, and industry influencers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for media inquiries, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant responses.
  • Monitor, track, and analyse media coverage, providing regular performance reports and insights.

Content Creation

  • Produce high-quality content for newsletters, blogs, speeches, interviews, websites, and eCommerce platforms.
  • Develop organic content for social media channels to enhance brand engagement.
  • Edit and proofread communications to maintain consistency, accuracy, and clarity across all materials.

Internal Communications

  • Support the creation and delivery of internal newsletters, staff announcements, and engagement campaigns.
  • Foster a positive internal culture through messaging and initiatives aligned with company values.
  • Coordinate the timely delivery of the Monthly Newsletter and annual partner newsletter.
  • Collaborate with HR to support employee engagement and recognition activities.

External Communications & Events

  • Produce quarterly marketing newsletters for partners and key stakeholders.
  • Organise and execute public events with authorities, partners, and media to strengthen NCH’s visibility.
  • Develop pre- and post-event communications to maximise impact and audience reach.
  • Plan and execute consumer outreach programmes, ensuring strong event presentation, organisation, and coverage.

Crisis Communications

  • Assist in drafting and delivering rapid-response communications during issues management situations.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent, accurate, and compliant messaging.

Brand Partnerships & Co-Marketing

  • Develop and manage strategic brand collaborations, including CSR initiatives and partnerships with healthcare providers, educational institutions, and relevant organisations.
  • Coordinate co-marketing opportunities with aligned brands to enhance visibility and reach.

Event Photography & Asset Management

  • Oversee briefing, coordination, and timely delivery of photography and videography for events.
  • Ensure all event assets are delivered on time and align with NCH’s brand standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification in PR/Communications is a plus.
  • 5–7 years of proven experience in communications, public relations, or corporate affairs, ideally within healthcare, wellness, FMCG, or a regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in media relations, stakeholder engagement, and event management.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing communication strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Proficiency in content creation for multiple platforms, including social media, websites, newsletters, and press materials.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring, analytics tools, and content management systems.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Arabic) preferred; strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.

Competencies:

  • Knowledge of social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and email marketing tools.
  • Understanding of SEO, content optimisation, and digital publishing best practices.
  • Experience with media monitoring and analytics tools for tracking coverage and measuring ROI..
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling ability with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align communications to organisational objectives.
