Job summary

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance of bar mills and wire rod mills within a steel manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and possess hands-on expertise in the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of rolling mill equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on bar mill and wire rod mill machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs.
• Ensure smooth operation of rolling mill equipment to minimize downtime.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
• Maintain safety and quality standards during maintenance activities

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a steel rolling mill (bar mill and wire rod mill).
