Al-Futtaim is seeking a skilled General Repair Technician for our UAE-based Aftersales workshop. You will perform periodic maintenance and mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicles, including brakes, clutches, steering and suspension, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Ideal candidates will have a Technical Diploma / ITI or equivalent, hands-on repair experience, and a good command of English.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of vehicle periodic maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
• Hands-on ability to work on brakes, clutches, steering and suspension.
• Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and repair documentation skills.
• Conversational English and ability to communicate in a multicultural team.

Responsabilités

• Complete vehicle inspections accurately and identify required repair work.

Overview Of The Role

Are you a skilled automotive technician with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and general repairs?

We are currently building a strong pool of talented General Repair Technicians for future opportunities across the UAE.

As a General Repair Technician, you will carry out periodic maintenance and general repair work while ensuring vehicles are serviced to high standards of quality and safety. The role requires strong technical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to complete repair work efficiently.

You will work on a variety of mechanical repairs, including brakes, clutches, steering, suspension, and other general repair activities, while ensuring vehicles are completed within the required delivery time.

What You Will Do

• Carry out periodic vehicle maintenance and general repair activities.
• Independently perform mechanical repairs, including brakes, clutches, steering, and suspension.
• Complete vehicle inspections accurately and identify required repair work.
• Ensure all repairs are completed to the required quality and safety standards.
• Accurately document work performed and maintain clear repair-order reporting.
• Complete assigned work efficiently and within the required vehicle delivery time.
• Follow Health, Safety, and Environment requirements and maintain an organized work environment.
• Communicate with the Team Leader regarding repair progress, results, and any technical support required.
• Share technical knowledge and support the development of other technicians.
• Participate in on-the-job learning and coaching to continuously develop technical capabilities.

About The Team

You will be part of a professional Aftersales workshop team, working closely with the Workshop Supervisor, Team Leaders, and fellow technicians. The team works together to ensure vehicles are maintained and repaired safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. You will also have opportunities to share your technical knowledge with colleagues and continue developing your skills through on-the-job learning.

What Equips You For The Role

• Technical Diploma, ITI/NCVT Certificate, ITC, or equivalent technical certification.
• Practical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and general repair work.
• Ability to independently carry out mechanical repairs such as brakes, clutches, steering, and suspension.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment practices.
• Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Conversational English.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
