As a Mechanical Technician, You

The technician is responsible for their own work tasks as required by seniors from time to time in accordance with assigned responsibilities.

Following instructions, responsible for inspecting, operating, or testing machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

Dismantling machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.

Performing routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or other preventive maintenance actions.

Repairing machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices as per instructions.

Assembling, installing, or repairing mechanical components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.

Cleaning or lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery.

Adjusting functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges.

Planning and laying out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.

Operating cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.

Recording the type and cost of maintenance or repair work.

Assembling boilers at installation sites, using tools such as levels, plumb bobs, hammers, torches, or other hand tools.

Performing routine maintenance on boilers, installing replacement parts, or reinforcing structural weaknesses to ensure optimal boiler efficiency.

Setting up and operating machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, or tools.

Inspecting used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments.

Receiving reports about customer-reported concerns and ensuring basic-level customer-oriented service.

Preparing and arranging tools and spares for upcoming maintenance.

Inspecting regularly the condition and availability of equipment and tools needed for maintenance work.

Comparable vocational education with extensive related work experience or equivalent.

Detailed understanding of the business at both technical and commercial levels.

Seasoned technician/engineer with at least 3 years of related experience, preferably in heavy equipment manufacturing or machinery.

Demonstrated engineering approach.

Able to carry out instructions.

Excellent skills set required in areas defined in the competence profile.

Cooperative and team-oriented.

Interpersonal and intercultural skills.

Good coordination, organization, and communication skills.

Ability to uphold the highest ethical standards, high integrity.
