Job description

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment across industrial or commercial facilities. This position requires hands-on technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical components, machinery, and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of reading technical diagrams and manuals to execute work effectively.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and machinery.

Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on equipment failures.

Install and commission new machinery and components as per technical specifications.

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.

Replace defective parts, align and adjust components to ensure optimal functioning.

Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve system performance.

Maintain maintenance logs and records of all service activities.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules.
