Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company to meet organizational strategy and goals.
  • Attend and troubleshoot in case of critical breakdowns in machineries and equipment’s and to supervise the operators handling the conventional machines at tool room & Fabrication workshop
  • Monitor and control the usage of inventories/spare parts, maintenance supplies, equipment and initiates reordering when necessary.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as allocated by a department Manager or Superior.
  • Ensure and adhere to safe work practices and procedures including, but not limited to, lockout/tag out and confined space rules and regulations.
  • Review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Read, understand and able to explain various engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, diagrams of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Maintain QMS ISO, safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures and reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians.
  • Managing a team, evaluating employees' progress, training new team members, attending meetings, identifying conflicts, and resolving problems.
Experience and Education:
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10 -12 years experience
  • 16-20 years/ (If no Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, minimum Vocational/Technical Trade Certificate required).
