Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd in Dubai seeks a QHSES Assurance Specialist to apply conceptual assurance knowledge with leadership guidance. You will analyze solutions using standard procedures and support root-cause analysis across EPC fabrication and projects.

Responsibilities include monthly audits, updating procedures, KPI/COQ reporting, and mentoring process owners to drive data‑driven decisions and sustained quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred, or relevant field of study.
• 5+ relative industry experience related to EPC construction or fabrication.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and standard software.
• Ability to translate concepts into simple training material.
• Strong communication across all organizational levels.
• Lean/Continuous Improvement knowledge.
• ISO Auditor 9001, 14001, 45001 experience or training.
• Team player with leadership ability.
• Experience with various management systems and software.
• Deliver KPIs monthly related to productivity.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits monthly per plan and report results.
• Update procedures and assist in preparing new procedures.
• Assist in developing statistical tools and analysis to monitor KPIs/QLs & other measurements.
• Maintain and publish KPI, QI, and COQ for key functions of the fabrication yard and projects; report monthly/quarterly.
• Prepare and review procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review audit results and findings to ensure root cause analysis.
