Job summary

Petrofac is seeking an Inspector I - Quality: Mechanical to support on-site inspection activities for static and rotating equipment at the project site. You will perform receiving inspections, verify preservation records, and ensure proper installation and alignment in accordance with project specifications.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on experience with ASME/API standards and oil & gas projects.

Qualifications

• Thorough working knowledge of International Codes and Standards, specifically ASME and API codes/practices.
• Experience in oil & gas/petrochemical industry.
• Experience with major EPC contractors or subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out receiving inspection for mechanical equipment delivered to construction site.
• Periodically check material lay down and warehouse areas for proper storage.
• Ensure equipment foundations are released by Civil QC Inspector.
• Review equipment certificates to ensure validity and compliance with specs.
