Job summary

TALENT ONE EMPLOYMENT SERVICES in Abu Dhabi seeks a Quality Inspector - Mechanical to oversee QC for static and rotating equipment, ensuring compliance with project specs, ITPs and manufacturer requirements. You will inspect installations, alignments and testing, and maintain QA records.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years in oil & gas QC, strong ASME/API knowledge, and EPC contractor experience; you will coordinate with clients and document outcomes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Mechanical QC Inspector.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API Codes & Standards and static/rotating equipment requirements.
• Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry experience mandatory.
• Experience with major EPC contractors or their subcontractors preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection, alignment, installation, testing and QA/QC documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct receiving inspection and storage surveillance.
• Verify equipment certification, manuals and compliance with specs.
• Inspect foundations, installation, erection, alignment and dimensional checks.
• Witness torqueing, cleaning, flushing, testing and final box-up.
• Supervise QC of rotating equipment alignment within specified tolerances.
• Inspect static equipment internals, trays and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with Civil QC for foundations and releases.
• Maintain inspection records and identify deviations/non-conformances.
• Facilitate client inspections and witness load testing of cranes and HVAC systems.
