Job description

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Welding QC Inspector with a valid CSWIP 3.1 certification to perform inspections and quality control of welding activities across piping and structural works. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with project specifications, international codes and standards (API, ASME, AWS, ISO), and HSE requirements. The Welding QC Inspector will be responsible for visual inspections, verification of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Qualification Tests (WQT), as well as conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) such as UT, RT, PT, and MT. The role also involves identifying welding defects, recommending corrective actions, and maintaining detailed inspection reports and quality documentation.

Candidates must have strong experience in both piping and structural inspections, and be proactive in supporting quality assurance throughout project execution.



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the same role.
  • CSWIP 3.1 is required.
  • Conduct welding inspections as per international standards.
  • Should have a thorough understanding of all processes related to the role.
  • Monitor welding processes and ensure adherence to industry codes (API, ASME, AWS, ISO).
  • Maintain inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
  • Piping & Structural experience is required.

Preferred Candidates:
  • Holding a UAE visit/cancelled visa.
  • Can join immediately upon selection.
  • Have ADNOC experience.
