Qualifications

Job Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of mechanical installations including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and method statements to ensure proper execution of works.
- Prepare and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality checklists, and related QA/QC documentation.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants, and clients for inspection and approval of mechanical works.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Observation Reports (SORs) and follow up on corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure materials used at site are approved and comply with project requirements.
- Monitor subcontractor and vendor quality performance and adherence to contract terms.
- Support testing and commissioning processes of mechanical systems.
- Maintain proper documentation for QA/QC reports, material submittals, approvals, and as-built records.
- Attend quality-related meetings and provide inputs regarding improvements and compliance.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, MEP standards, and local authority regulations.
- Previous experience working with contracting companies is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.) in building projects.
- Familiar with international standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC reporting tools.
- Must be presently residing in the UAE.
