Position Overview

Mechanical Maintenance Technician Rotating Equipment in Dubai, UAE supports the maintenance and reliability of mechanical systems used across DP World port and logistics infrastructure. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical equipment, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of pumps, motors, compressors, and other rotating machinery essential to terminal and facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment including pumps, motors, compressors, fans, blowers, and piping systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure proper functioning of mechanical systems and rotating equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults and breakdowns and implement effective repair solutions
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment and systems
• Conduct alignment of pumps, motors, and other rotating equipment to maintain operational efficiency
• Maintain lubrication schedules to support equipment reliability and performance
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, operation manuals, and technical specifications
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment service history
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company maintenance policies during repair activities
• Provide support to other maintenance teams including electrical and plumbing teams when required
• Properly operate and maintain mechanical tools, measuring instruments, and maintenance equipment
• Ensure maintenance work complies with operational safety standards and engineering best practices
