Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with hands-on expertise in mechanical system maintenance, reliability engineering, and advanced predictive analytics using IIoT and statistical models to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Maintenance Activities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of rotating and static equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, furnace, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Conduct shaft alignment, bearing lubrication, and vibration analysis to prevent premature failures.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Identify and resolve wear & tear issues, misalignments, unbalanced loads, and cavitation problems.
• Optimize the performance of cooling systems, boilers, and heat exchangers.

Predictive & IIoT-Based Maintenance:

• Implement vibration analysis, ultrasonic detection, and oil analysis to predict failures.
• Utilize IIoT-based sensors for real-time monitoring of machine health parameters such as temperature, pressure, and stress levels.
• Develop failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) models to predict component failures.
• Apply Machine Learning (ML) models for trend analysis and anomaly detection in mechanical systems.

Industry Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with ISO 55001 (Asset Management) and OSHA safety regulations.
• Maintain historical maintenance data, CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) records, and predictive maintenance logs.
• Train technicians on advanced diagnostic tools, AI-driven maintenance, and reliability-cantered maintenance (RCM).

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering + MBA (is a plus)
• ~ 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing/industrial setup.
• Expertise in condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and asset reliability optimization.
• Experience with IIoT, AI-driven predictive analytics, and statistical modelling.

Proficiency in vibration analysis, thermography, and hydraulic system troubleshooting
