WSP Middle East in Sharjah offers a Mechanical Engineering intern position for a 3‑month period. You will assist senior engineers with detailed designs for chilled water, gas systems, and pump stations, and gain hands-on experience with CAD tools and large-scale project workflows.

Eligible candidates are Mech Eng students or recent grads with coursework in fluids, HVAC, and thermodynamics, plus strong analytical and communication skills. Opportunity for professional development and mentorship.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering or recently graduated.
• Strong coursework in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and HVAC.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit; familiarity with hydraulic analysis tools.
• Basic understanding of chilled water, gas, and pump station design principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates for the internship duration.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in developing detailed designs for chilled water distribution, gas systems, and pump stations.
• Create schematic and layout drawings using CAD tools.
• Support material take-offs and cost estimates for mechanical components.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate designs into projects.
• Conduct site surveys and data collection to validate design assumptions.
• Update project documentation and design databases.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Run basic performance simulations and generate reports.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and WSP quality procedures.
