Job summary

Emarat is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor to oversee technicians and contractor personnel in mechanical maintenance at Metering and Regulating Stations and across the pipeline network. The role focuses on ensuring plant and network availability and safe gas delivery in line with EMARAT procedures and HSE policies.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in Natural Gas operations and may have PE or CMfgE credentials.

Qualifications

• Required: a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Preferred: PE license or Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technicians and contractor personnel in mechanical maintenance to ensure plant and network availability.
• Monitor pipeline condition monitoring to verify MAOP integrity and identify deterioration.
• Ensure contractor work complies with No Objection Certificate (NOC) requirements.
• Maintain records of repair/maintenance work and spare parts usage.
• Raise Local Purchase Orders via the Oracle system for urgent spare parts and tools.
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes for mechanical systems to meet standards and regulations.
• Conduct inspections and audits of mechanical designs and manufacturing processes.
