Job Description

Position: Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, HVAC, piping networks, valves, conveyors, boilers, and other machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical faults, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs.
  • Coordinate with electrical and instrumentation teams for integrated maintenance activities.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and work orders using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, local standards, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Support installation, testing, commissioning, and upgrades of mechanical systems.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or replacements.
  • Liaise with vendors regarding spare parts, service contracts, and warranty claims.
  • Conduct inspections and internal audits for safety and reliability.
Candidate Profile:
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5-8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
  • Experience in facilities, manufacturing, utilities, or construction sectors is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, maintenance planning tools, and MS Office.
