Job description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, install, and maintain mechanical systems across various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and experience in managing mechanical components and systems in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement mechanical systems and equipment in line with project requirements.
  • Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
  • Develop technical drawings and specifications using CAD software.
  • Evaluate mechanical systems and suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and vendors.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot mechanical failures.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including BOMs, O&M manuals, and project reports.
  • Provide technical support to procurement and construction teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience (2–5+ years) in mechanical design, maintenance, or project execution.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other mechanical design software.
  • Familiar with industry codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Preferred:

  • Experience in [industry-specific e.g., HVAC, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, etc.].
  • Knowledge of project management tools or ERP systems.
  • Professional certifications (like PMP, ASME membership, etc.) are a plus.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of civil works for oil and gas infrastructure projects. The role involves working on both onshore and offshore facilities including refineries, terminals, pipelines, process plants, and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure including foundations, roads, drainage systems, buildings, and structural supports for process equipment.
  • Perform site investigations and feasibility studies.
  • Review and develop civil and structural design packages in compliance with project specifications and international codes (API, ACI, ASTM, BS, etc.).
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, piping, and electrical engineers.
  • Conduct soil, concrete, and material analysis and interpret geotechnical reports.
  • Manage civil construction activities ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • Support project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct inspections, supervise contractors, and ensure QA/QC compliance.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for regulatory approvals and internal use.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the oil & gas or energy sector.
  • Proficiency in civil/structural software (e.g., STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000).
  • Strong knowledge of international engineering standards and practices.
  • Experience in working in remote or challenging site environments is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Certifications like PMP, API 650/653, or OSHA are advantageous.

Preferred Experience:

  • Onshore or offshore oil & gas projects (FEED/EPC stages).
  • Pipeline and terminal construction.
  • Brownfield modifications in live facilities.
  • Marine structures and jetty design.
  • Working with major clients such as ADNOC, Aramco, Shell, BP, or Chevron.
