Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct scoping and feasibility reviews for mechanical systems, including piping systems, rotating equipment, burners, and boilers.
  • Review and evaluate mechanical designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards for hazardous waste incineration plants, such as API and ASME codes.
  • Provide technical expertise during design reviews, offering recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate mechanical systems with other project components and ensure seamless operation.
  • Supervise construction activities, including the installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
  • Conduct periodic site inspections, coordinate with contractors, and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
  • Participate in project meetings to monitor progress, address construction-related challenges, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Around 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on scoping, design review, and construction supervision.
  • Experience in brownfield projects and relevant industrial processes
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards for hazardous waste incineration plants.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional engineering license preferred.
