A leading company in Dubai is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical scope of work for large-scale construction projects. The role involves overseeing HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and preparing essential technical documents. Job Description
Lead the mechanical scope of work including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
Oversee execution at site, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
Prepare technical documents including shop drawings, method statements, and ITPs.
Review and verify MEP design drawings and BOQ during pre- and post-construction.
Ensure timely material procurement and site readiness in coordination with planning team.
Supervise subcontractors, monitor manpower productivity, and resolve site issues.
Conduct testing and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.
Attend progress and coordination meetings with consultants and clients.
Maintain and submit site reports, daily logs, and QA/QC documentation.
Ensure compliance with local authority approvals (e.g., DEWA, Civil Defence, DM).
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
4 6 years of UAE/GCC experience in MEP works for large-scale construction.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting system design & execution.
Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA standards.
Strong coordination and reporting skills.
Experience in handling DEWA, DCD, and consultant inspections.
