Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment ensuring they meet project specifications and performance standards.
- Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules in coordination with project teams.
- Conduct functional and performance tests on mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Identify and resolve issues during the commissioning process ensuring optimal system performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and handover of mechanical systems.
- Prepare detailed commissioning reports documenting test results, system performance, and any corrective actions taken.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during commissioning activities.
- Participate in project meetings providing updates on commissioning progress and addressing any challenges encountered.
- Provide training and handover documentation to operations and maintenance personnel.
- Support the project closeout process ensuring all commissioning documentation is complete and accurate.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Testing and Commissioning Mechanical Engineer, preferably in the construction or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems testing procedures and commissioning standards.
- Proficiency in using testing and diagnostic tools for mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
