Mechanical Engineer

We are currently looking for Mechanical Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi location.

Main Purpose Of Role

Core Engineering Role to produce the volume of engineering activities on projects and within the business as required.

Qualifications

1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with relevant discipline from recognized university
2. Master degree in relevant discipline will be an added advantage

Technical Knowledge And Skills (Discipline Specific)

1. Engineering design knowledge of oil and gas pipelines and associated systems such as pump stations, compressor stations, metering and regulating stations, slug catchers, tank farms and other facilities.
2. Feasibility studies, conceptual design, FEED, detail design, procurement support, construction, testing and commissioning.
3. Piping design, stress analysis, piping material selection, equipment and rotating machinery.
4. Ability to produce specifications, datasheets, material requisitions and piping layouts.
5. Ability to produce drawings such as piping layouts, plot plans, general arrangements and isometrics.
6. Knowledge of 2D and 3D CADD applications.
7. Knowledge of PDS or equivalent software.
8. Working knowledge on international codes, standards and engineering practices.

Must have the ability to prepare engineering deliverables as per company technical competency standards.

Essential Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

1. 6 -10 years of Oil & Gas Design Experience.
