About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and optimization of building systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure all mechanical and electrical systems operate efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance, and performance of mechanical and electrical systems across assigned sites
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and related building systems
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for energy efficiency and reliability
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, safety procedures, and industry standards
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers
• Support inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover of new or upgraded systems
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and technical documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 6 years of experience in M&E or Facilities Management (FM)
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, and building services
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems and CMMS platforms
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of HSE standards and compliance requirements
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Fluent in Arabic and English (Arabic speaker is required)

Preferred

• Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial towers, or large-scale facilities
• GCC/UAE experience is highly desirable
• Strong communication and coordination skills
