Job description

JOB SUMMARY

• Produce engineering documents (such as drawings, technical illustrations, reports) and ensure they are completed within the required timescales.
• Ensure all engineering documentation is produced — drawings, calculations, data sheets, procedures, manuals as required.
• Coordinate with vendors for new fabrication jobs, cost reviews, and documentation issuance of engineering documents as required.
• Progress small and medium-sized engineering projects as allocated by the engineering manager or as part of a team on larger projects.
• Provide engineering support to other departments.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and rig contractors as required.
• Assist materials procurement in a timely manner as dictated by the project.
• Carry out other reasonable duties requested by the Engineering Manager.

1. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
2. Participate and contribute to the development of the Project Execution Process.
3. Develop and follow up on:

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

4. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Project, Outlook, and AutoCAD.
5. Experience in an engineering environment.

EXPERIENCE :

1. Previous experience working in a design office with established processes compliant with ISO 9001 and other design codes/guidelines (e.g., ASME, API, DNV-GL).
2. Project management experience within the oil and gas industry and/or manufacturing/fabrication sectors.
