Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Dubai

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and design mechanical components products and systems. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality designs that meet performance safety and cost requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of CAD tools engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical components assemblies and systems according to project specifications.

  • Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks CATIA).

  • Conduct feasibility studies tolerance analysis and design calculations to ensure product reliability and performance.

  • Collaborate with production quality and R&D teams to ensure smooth transition from design to manufacturing.

  • Review and modify designs based on test results client feedback and cost optimization.

  • Prepare technical documentation including design reports BOMs (Bill of Materials) and manuals.

  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards safety regulations and company policies.

  • Support prototype development and testing phases.

  • Stay updated with the latest engineering trends materials and technologies.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and design team members.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./) or equivalent.

  • Master s Degree (M.E./) in Mechanical Design/Manufacturing (Preferred).

Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software such as SolidWorks CATIA Crew or AutoCAD.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles GD&T and material properties.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining sheet metal casting and welding.

  • Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and simulation tools is an added advantage.

  • Excellent problem-solving analytical and mathematical skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
