Phoenician Technical Services in Dubai is seeking a creative Mechanical Design Engineer to lead MEP design, coordination, and technical development across residential, commercial, and large-scale developments.

The role focuses on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire protection design, BIM modeling, and multidisciplinary coordination with architects and contractors. Immediate joining offered for full-time employment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of relevant MEP design experience.
• Experience in engineering calculations, coordination, and design review.
• Knowledge of international standards and local regulations.

Phoenician Technical Services is looking for a creative and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Dubai.

Full Time | Immediate Joining

The successful candidate will be responsible for MEP design, engineering, coordination, and technical development across residential, commercial, high-rise, lagoon, amenities, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate MEP designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical documents.
• Design and coordinate HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, electrical, and other building services.
• Coordinate MEP systems with architectural, structural, civil, landscape, and specialist disciplines.
• Develop and review BIM/Revit models and resolve design clashes and coordination issues.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical proposals, and equipment selections.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Provide technical support during construction and resolve MEP-related site issues.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, authority requirements, and project specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant MEP design experience, preferably in high-rise towers, residential, hospitality, mixed-use, or large-scale developments
• Proven experience in MEP design, engineering calculations, multidisciplinary coordination, and design review
• Strong knowledge of applicable international standards, local authority regulations, building codes, and project specifications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, Trimble SketchUp, Graph iSOFT ArchiCAD and MS Office; knowledge of relevant MEP calculation/design software is preferred
• Previous experience in the UAE/GCC region and knowledge of local authority requirements is an advantage
