Skills

Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and simulation tools

Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and design mechanical components, products, and systems. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality designs that meet performance, safety, and cost requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of CAD tools, engineering principles, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems according to project specifications.
  • Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA).
  • Conduct feasibility studies, tolerance analysis, and design calculations to ensure product reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and R&D teams to ensure smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
  • Review and modify designs based on test results, client feedback, and cost optimization.
  • Prepare technical documentation including design reports, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and manuals.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Support prototype development and testing phases.
  • Stay updated with the latest engineering trends, materials, and technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and design team members.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Master’s Degree (in Mechanical Design / Manufacturing) – Preferred.
