Job summary

NMDC Energy seeks an experienced Construction Manager for our fabrication yard portfolio, focusing on structural, tubular and piping fabrication in onshore/offshore settings.

You will lead fabrication and construction activities, coordinate engineering and planning teams, ensure HSE compliance, and deliver projects to schedule and budget with a strong emphasis on productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in Onshore / Offshore Oil & Gas fabrication and construction.
• Strong experience in large fabrication yards, preferably in a construction/fabrication management role.
• Proven expertise in structural, tubular and piping fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication planning, scheduling, execution and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage fabrication and construction activities within the yard.
• Plan and monitor fabrication activities against project schedules and milestones.
• Manage structural, tubular and piping fabrication works.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and work fronts.
• Monitor productivity, progress and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement and Material Control teams.
• Identify delays/issues and implement recovery actions.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Lead fabrication supervisors, engineers, foremen and subcontractor teams.
• Support project management with progress reporting and execution planning.
