Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a skilled Commercial & Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and heavy vehicles to keep them safe, reliable, and roadworthy.

You will perform routine servicing, diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and carry out engine overhauls and major repairs as required. The role emphasizes minimizing downtime and ensuring quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in automotive engineering or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience with commercial and heavy vehicles.
• Willingness to attend the walk-in interview.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and repairs of commercial and heavy vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and repairs of commercial and heavy vehicles.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.

• Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, gearboxes, clutches, differentials, axles, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.

• Conduct engine overhauling and major mechanical repairs as required.

• Inspect vehicles to identify potential faults and recommend necessary repairs.

• Carry out scheduled maintenance in accordance with manufacturer and company guidelines.
