Job summary

Gunjial Transporting and General Maintenance is seeking a skilled Diesel / Heavy Equipment Mechanic in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves servicing and maintaining heavy machinery such as JCBs, excavators, cranes, and trucks, diagnosing diesel engines and hydraulic systems, and performing repairs on-site or in the workshop.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of hands-on experience, with UAE experience and a valid driving licence considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Diesel / Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Experience with heavy machinery and construction equipment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with JCB, loaders, excavators, cranes, trucks or similar equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults independently.
• ITI / Diploma in Diesel Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• UAE experience preferred.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular servicing, inspection and preventive maintenance of heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes and other mechanical components.
• Carry out engine servicing, repairs and overhauling when required.
• Troubleshoot and attend to machinery breakdowns at the workshop or site.
• Maintain and repair JCBs, loaders, excavators, cranes, trucks and other heavy equipment.
• Identify mechanical faults and recommend necessary repairs or replacement of parts.
• Perform oil changes, filter replacement, lubrication and other scheduled maintenance.
• Coordinate with machine operators to understand equipment problems.
• Maintain records of servicing, repairs, breakdowns and spare parts used.
• Ensure all machinery is kept in safe and reliable working condition.
• Follow proper workshop safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment.

7. UAE experience is preferred.

8. Ability to respond to urgent machinery breakdowns.

9. UAE driving licence is an advantage.
