Job summary

Dr. Nutrition is seeking an Auto Mechanic to join the Fleet Department in the UAE. You will service the company’s vehicle fleet, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and complete minor repairs to maximise vehicle availability.

The role requires 2–5 years’ experience on passenger and light commercial vehicles, with expertise in engine maintenance, brakes, suspension, and AC servicing. A UAE driving license is advantageous and safety standards must be followed.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of Auto Mechanic experience.
• Fluent in English or Arabic.
• Experience with passenger and light commercial vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of engine maintenance, brakes, suspension, and diagnostics.
• Experience with air-conditioning servicing and gas refilling.
• Ability to diagnose faults and repair independently.
• Good workshop safety practices.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

About The Role

Dr. Nutrition is looking for a skilled and reliable Auto Mechanic to join our Fleet Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company's fleet of vehicles by performing routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and minor mechanical repairs to ensure maximum vehicle availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle servicing, including engine oil and filter changes.


• Diagnose and repair minor mechanical faults.


• Refill and service vehicle air-conditioning systems.


• Replace brake pads and brake components.


• Replace vehicle lights and other basic electrical components.


• Conduct vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance.


• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance performed.


• Purchase and manage essential oils, spare parts, and consumables when required.


• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic.


• Must Speak English or Arabic.


• Experience working on passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles (vans).


• Strong knowledge of engine maintenance, brakes, suspension, and vehicle diagnostics.


• Experience with air-conditioning servicing and gas refilling.


• Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs independently.


• Good understanding of workshop safety practices.


• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
