Job description

Overview

Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks. Reports directly to the Supervisor for all aspects of aircraft, facility, tool, and equipment management, as well as administrative requirements. The responsibilities include:

1. Assist the maintenance supervisor in accomplishing the company's mission.
2. Perform inspection, servicing, and repair of aircraft and equipment in accordance with applicable technical publications and local policies and procedures. Ensure aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.
3. Impart knowledge of duties and responsibilities through advice, support, and on-the-job training to facilitate the training of customer technicians, enabling them to attain full maintenance capacity.
4. Complete all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with DA PAM 738-751, applicable technical publications, and local policies and procedures.
5. Perform rated and/or non-rated crew member duties as needed to facilitate maintenance activities, such as Maintenance Test Flights, Maintenance Operational Checks, and operation of diagnostic equipment during ground and/or flight (subject to completion of a flight physical).
6. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Lead.
