A prominent aviation company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician. The role involves performing maintenance tasks, training trainees, and ensuring the aircraft's mission readiness. Qualified candidates will possess an FAA certification and significant experience in aviation maintenance, contributing to high standards of operational excellence.
Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks. Reports directly to the Supervisor for all aspects of aircraft, facility, tool and equipment, and administrative requirements.
1. Assist the maintenance supervisor in accomplishing the company's mission.
2. Perform inspection, servicing, and repair of aircraft and equipment in accordance with applicable technical publications and local policies and procedures. Assist in maintaining aircraft and equipment in a high state of mission readiness.
3. Impart knowledge of duties and responsibilities through advice, support, and on-the-job training to enable trainees to attain full maintenance capacity.
4. Complete all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with DA PAM 738-751, applicable technical publications, and local policies and procedures.
5. May be requested to perform rated and/or non-rated crew member duties, such as Maintenance Test Flights, Maintenance Operational Checks, and operation of diagnostic equipment during ground and/or flight, subject to completion of a flight physical.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Lead.

Qualifications
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or industry equivalent. High School Diploma. Graduation from military or commercial aircraft maintenance school or course required.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of aviation maintenance experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic on the aircraft type
Thorough knowledge of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment used in aircraft maintenance.
