Job summary

Client of People Perfect Advisory is seeking skilled Automotive Mechanics in Sharjah, UAE. You will diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles with emphasis on mechanical, electrical and AC systems, and perform routine maintenance to high safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of independent repair experience, a relevant automotive certification, and strong problem-solving skills. UAE relocation is considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic.
• Certified Mechanic or relevant automotive technical education.

• Good knowledge of engine, transmission, braking and suspension systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, braking, electrical and AC issues.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and resolve them.
• Perform suspension repairs and brake pad replacements, align wheels.
• Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes and inspections.
• Explain repair requirements to customers and suggest services.
• Supervise junior mechanics and monitor quality of work.
• Keep accurate service records and document parts used.

Job Overview

We are looking for skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanics to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles. The ideal candidates should have strong hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical and air-conditioning (AC) repairs along with the ability to perform routine maintenance and ensure high standards of service quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues related to engines, transmissions, braking, electrical and AC systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Perform suspension repairs, brake pad replacements, wheel alignment and balancing.
• Carry out routine maintenance, including oil changes, tyre rotations, brake inspections and fluid level checks.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify potential mechanical issues.
• Test vehicles after completing repairs to ensure proper functionality and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and spare parts used.
• Explain repair requirements and inspection findings to customers and recommend appropriate services.
• Ensure all repairs meet established quality and safety standards.
• Guide and supervise Assistant Mechanics, assign tasks and monitor their work quality.
• Share technical knowledge and support other workshop team members.

Preferred Candidates

Experienced and Senior Mechanics with proven independent repair experience. Non-Gulf automotive experience will also be considered.

Minimum 2 3 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic. Certified Mechanic or relevant automotive technical education. Strong hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and AC repairs. Good knowledge of engine, transmission, braking, and suspension systems. Experience in using automotive diagnostic tools and equipment. Practical knowledge of routine vehicle maintenance and servicing. Basic computer and service documentation skills. Good communication and customer service skills. Good command of English. Strong problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience guiding or supervising junior mechanics is preferred. Candidates currently based in the UAE or willing to relocate will be considered.
