Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Electrical Supervisor for a meat processing facility in Dubai to maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems across production lines. You will support fast-paced FMCG operations, ensuring top equipment uptime and strict adherence to GMP, HACCP, and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, motors, and control panels, plus knowledge of refrigeration systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing.
• Mandatory meat processing or food manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMI, electrical panels, sensors, and automation.
• Experience with packaging machines, conveyors, meat processing equipment, and refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and hygiene requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical equipment and production lines.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in processing, packaging, refrigeration, and utility equipment.
• Maintain motors, drives, control panels, PLCs, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Support production teams by ensuring minimal downtime and rapid response to equipment failures.
• Perform electrical inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Assist in installation, modification, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Maintain refrigeration and cold storage electrical systems used in meat processing operations.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Record maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage accurately.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Ensure proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures are followed when performing maintenance activities.
