Job summary

J.P. Morgan in Dubai seeks an Associate to support the MEA FI Trade Sales team, developing core trade skills and driving growth across the region.

You will collaborate with FIG, Product, and Delivery teams to originate revenue and implement sophisticated trade solutions. Ideal candidates bring strong analytical and strategic planning abilities, plus fluency in trade finance products, credit risk, and regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Proficient analytical, presentation, project management, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for partnering with Product, Customer Service, and Product Delivery managers.
• Demonstrated experience in positioning and winning new Trade flows from FIs in MEA.
• Expert knowledge of Trade Finance Core products and ability to position these as solutions to FI clients.
• Knowledge of credit, risk, corporate governance, and regulatory issues/requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to growth of MEA FI Trade Revenues by developing a comprehensive Trade strategy for the region.
• Drive new innovative ideas and traditional trade solutions to meet client needs and ensure strong execution.
• Coordinate with diverse stakeholders across work streams for alignment and collaboration.
• Coordinate with the distribution team on sell-down strategies for transactions and credit lines management.
• Work with Core Trade Product team on new product approvals in identified jurisdictions.
• Develop country, industry, and client knowledge to identify and drive new business opportunities.
• Conduct balance sheet monitoring, portfolio reviews, trade committee approvals, and LRC submissions.
