Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present quarterly State of Compliance reports.
  • Enhance governance and provide compliance risk management services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior management and regulators.
  • Support regulatory management and manage relationships.
  • Oversee regulatory change management and compliance controls.
  • Provide guidance for Anti-Money Laundering compliance programs.
  • Lead operational activities ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Manage and develop the ICRM team.

Job description

The MEA Cluster ICRM Head is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing an effective compliance program across Citi's activities within the cluster, including branches, legal entities, affiliates, and shared service centers. This role ensures adherence to global policies, standards, and local laws, escalating conflicts and establishing controls to mitigate compliance risks. Responsibilities include implementing global compliance processes, setting ICRM priorities, and working closely with senior management and other ICRM teams on strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present quarterly State of Compliance reports to relevant governance bodies.
  • Enhance governance and provide compliance risk management services across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior management, legal entities, and regulators.
  • Support regulatory management, including managing relationships and coordinating examinations.
  • Oversee regulatory change management and compliance controls.
  • Provide strategic guidance for Anti-Money Laundering and other compliance programs.
  • Support training, risk mitigation, and issue remediation efforts.
  • Lead operational activities within ICRM, ensuring compliance with local and global standards.
  • Manage and develop the ICRM team, fostering a high-performance, inclusive environment.
  • Support compliance technology initiatives and drive transformation efforts.
  • Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring ethical standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience, with preference for postgraduate qualifications such as CRMC, CPA, ACA, CIA, CFA, ACAMS.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
