Job Purpose :

  1. Establish, implement, and execute a business strategy for the respective client segment (HNWI) and market area.
  2. Substitute for the Managing Director & Head of Private Banking - KCG in her absence for all office administrative, approval, and related matters.
  3. Ensure that the business complies with the current rules and regulations of the bank as defined by Policies and Procedures, compliance directives, and legal framework.
  4. Work closely with senior management to develop business strategies for PB aligned with the bank's overall strategy, with the goal to increase FAB’s access to the target segment.
  5. Collaborate with other bank divisions to promote holistic banking services and serve as a single point of contact for the target segment.
  6. Increase visibility of the Bank and PB by participating in relevant events alongside CCD and CSR activities.
  7. Grow PBU’s AuM & revenue by acquiring new clients directly or with RMs.
  8. Develop business across diverse markets/regions, especially with offshore and onshore UHNWI & HNWI clients.
  9. Identify, initiate, and develop products/services with FAB GAM and other resources, including external providers.
  10. Propose proactive product and investment ideas based on market opportunities.
  11. Maintain accurate business budgets and report to the head of operations.
  12. Expand current and future client base through referrals, contacts, and marketing.
  13. Enhance PB offerings by supporting internal processes and workflows.
  14. Promote ‘cradle to grave’ banking by extending capabilities to clients and their families.

Team Leader Tasks :

  1. Lead, develop, motivate, and retain a team of RMs, ensuring revenue, market coverage, service quality, and risk objectives are met. Provide marketing and administrative support.
  2. Participate in client meetings with RMs to foster team synergy.
  3. Collaborate with Business Heads to identify and develop new business and product opportunities.
  4. Develop and implement corrective actions for underperforming teams.
  5. Provide input on product development based on client feedback.
  6. Review RM performance regularly, focusing on individual strengths and styles.
  7. Manage performance based on FAB competencies and identify development needs.
  8. Screen and provide feedback on potential candidates and talent in the market.
  9. Identify external opportunities and develop new business, increasing wallet share and implementing marketing plans.
  10. Participate in bank-wide product development and marketing initiatives.
  11. Ensure compliance with bank policies, legal standards, and procedures.
  12. Manage end-to-end projects, liaising with other group colleagues.
  13. Develop new business through personal sources and professional connections, maintaining high-profile client relationships.
  14. Maintain and develop a key client base, providing excellent service and developing new business via referrals.
  15. Provide comprehensive investment solutions and advice to clients 24/7.
  16. Assess prospects thoroughly, including due diligence and compliance with PEPs, OFAC, KYC, and international standards.
  17. Monitor and maintain client relationships, portfolios, and related reports.
  18. Promote bank-wide capabilities across divisions.

Qualifications & Experience :

  1. Excellent academic record from a reputable university, preferably in business, economics, marketing, or with an MBA or finance background.
  2. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in private banking and related banking environments.
  3. Leadership experience.
  4. Proficiency in English and Arabic, French, Hindi, or Urdu depending on client geography.
