Job description

Project Manager - Maritime/Engineering

1. Project Management: Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and risk management strategies in collaboration with the Operations Team. Ensure alignment with company strategic goals and client expectations throughout all project stages from bidding to completion.
2. Technical Oversight: Provide operational and engineering solutions tailored to project specifications in collaboration with OPS and Technical teams.
3. Commercial & Contractual Leadership: Support technical and commercial teams in feasibility assessments. Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Manage contractual obligations and resolve disputes proactively.
4. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including clients, suppliers, authorities, and multidisciplinary project teams. Coordinate with chartering teams.
5. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, safety).

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime or Engineering
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Dynamic, ambitious team player with a proven track record in project management and a thorough understanding of Deck Carriers
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers, freight forwarders, brokers, and other key industry stakeholders as well as internal teams
• Preference for candidates experienced in Project Forwarding Industry / Deck Carriers
