Job summary

Keolis in Dubai is seeking a supervisor to oversee high‑level external cleaning and landscape maintenance across Dubai Metro stations and assets. You will ensure all works follow approved method statements, risk assessments and TMPs, and verify safe, compliant execution with contract standards.

You will maintain records in the Maximo system, support incident response, and coordinate with the MCG Team Leader/Engineer.

Qualifications

• Must have Higher Secondary Certificate or Vocational trade certificate in civil, electrical or mechanical
• Diploma or Industrial Training Certificate is required
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in cleaning, landscaping or facilities
• Must adhere to structured work instructions and work unsupervised

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor external cleaning activities at Dubai Metro premises
• Oversee landscape maintenance across Dubai Metro assets and facilities
• Ensure works follow approved method statements, risk assessments, TMPs, permits and procedures
• Verify safe, efficient work in line with standards and regulations
• Maintain records and documentation in Maximo
• Assist team leader/engineer to identify cleaning methods and treatments
• Perform line-side tasks, pest control and Platform Screen Door cleaning as needed
• Follow landscaping and cleaning procedures to ensure compliance
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure records are uploaded
• Perform shift and emergency duties as required
• No direct financial responsibilities; support cost-effective maintenance

The purpose of this position to oversee and monitor all high-level external cleaning and landscape maintenance activities across Dubai Metro stations and assets, ensuring full compliance with approved procedures, safety standards, statutory regulations, and company requirements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic

• Supervise and monitor all high-level external cleaning activities conducted within Dubai Metro premises.
• Supervise and monitor all landscape maintenance activities performed across Dubai Metro assets and facilities.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), permits, and established work methodologies.
• Verify that work activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, contractual requirements, and applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Respond to incidents on the building and structure that require specific cleaning expertise in a timely and efficient manner
• Follow applicable procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the requirements
• Review completed work documentation and verify the accuracy and completeness of records prior to project close-out.
• Ensure all relevant inspection reports, checklists, certificates, and work completion records are uploaded and maintained in the Maximo system.
• Assist the MCG Team leader/Engineer or other technical support staff to identify different types of cleaning methods including cleaning and restoration treatments
• Perform line side activities, Pest Control and Platform Screen Door cleaning as on when required
• Follow the appropriate landscaping, external cleaning procedures, method statements, risk assessments and work instructions to ensure compliance with the requirements
• Maintain accurate maintenance records of landscape condition & maintenance reports, external cleaning reports, pest control services reports using a computerized maintenance management system accomplished and other information
• Perform shift and emergency duties when required
• Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the MCG Engineer /Team Leader
• No direct financial responsibilities. Supports cost‑effective maintenance by ensuring proper use and care of tools, equipment and materials.

• Supports internal stakeholders by ensuring station exteriors, structures and landscapes are maintained to required standards, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and safe operations.

Operational

• Contributes to daily operational readiness of Dubai Metro by performing scheduled cleaning, landscaping and other activities in accordance with maintenance plans and procedures.

• Supports team capability by following instructions, maintaining certifications and assisting colleagues during routine tasks, drills and emergency duties.

DIMENSIONS

• Covers all Dubai Metro stations, ancillary buildings and depot external areas
• Performs cleaning and landscaping tasks across multiple locations
• Uses specialized equipment such as mobile boom lifts, abseiling gear and high‑pressure machines, whenever applicable.
