Job summary

Air Arabia in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to act as a central point for all maintenance across UAE hubs and outstations. You will ensure airworthiness and timely maintenance in line with GCAA rules and Air Arabia policies.

The role requires 8+ years in aviation maintenance with leadership experience, familiarity with GCAA regulations, and strong data analysis skills. A full-time position based at UAE hubs with 24/7 availability is offered.

Qualifications

Fluent in English is required.
Bachelor degree in Aircraft Engineering/Aeronautical or equivalent.
Diploma in related field with needed experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

Assists in identifying, assessing and reporting technical defects on the Air Arabia fleet.
Supports planning and monitoring of fleet maintenance operations.
Prioritizes and manages allocation of work packages among teams.
Provides technical guidance to maintenance staff and MROs 24/7.
Delivers technical support to pilots and cabin crew and coordinates flight coverage.
Maintains accurate records and logs for maintenance tasks.
Monitors daily flight technical performance and communicates issues.
Conducts technical training and ensures regulatory compliance.
Handles emergency cases and AOG situations as per procedures.
Generates reports on trends and supports audits.
