Job summary

Air Arabia in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Civil Aircraft Maintenance Technician to assist the Engineer in carrying out airframe and engine maintenance tasks on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft.

The role includes inspections, repairs, defect rectification, and component replacement to ensure aircraft serviceability, safety and airworthiness, with emphasis on accurate documentation and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

Experience performing maintenance on large commercial aircraft, preferably Airbus types.
2+ years’ experience in a Line Maintenance environment.
Solid understanding of Avionics Systems Maintenance theory and practice.
Ability to obtain UAE Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Review task cards with Engineer-in-Charge to understand work scope and safety considerations.
Prepare and perform scheduled maintenance according to task cards, ensuring parts, tools and documentation.
Carry out inspections and tests to identify defects and ensure compliance with procedures.
Execute repairs and component replacements as instructed, documenting work accurately.
Ensure proper tooling is used and returned in good condition.
Update Engineer-in-Charge on task status and any issues affecting airworthiness.
Maintain housekeeping standards throughout maintenance tasks.
