Job description

The MCC Controller is a key role reporting to the Senior Manager – Maintenance, responsible for overseeing all technical matters related to the Beond fleet. Serving as the focal point for Flight Crew and maintenance providers, the MCC Controller ensures seamless communication, effective coordination, and positive operational control across the fleet. This role maintains situational awareness of fleet status at all times, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and optimized aircraft availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the liaison between the Maintenance Department and other internal and external stakeholders, including Operations, CAMO, and SSC.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure they are completed on time and in compliance with MCAR 145 regulations and company procedures.
  • Monitor aircraft status and provide real-time updates to relevant departments, ensuring clear communication and quick resolution of issues.
  • Facilitate the planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks, working closely with the CAMO Technical Records & Planning to optimize aircraft availability.
  • Ensure that all necessary documentation, including work orders and maintenance records, is accurate and up to date.
  • Participate in daily meetings to discuss maintenance status, upcoming tasks, and any issues that may impact aircraft availability.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any maintenance-related issues that may arise, coordinating with appropriate departments to find solutions.
  • Support the compliance team during audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing maintenance efficiency and reducing aircraft downtime.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve maintenance processes and communication channels within the organization.
  • Other duties that may be assigned by the Management as and when required and necessitated by operations.

Requirements:

  • Current Part-66 AMEL with type rating on A320 family fitted with CFM56 and IAE V2500 engines.
  • 3 years in MCC of a scheduled airline operating A320 family of aircraft (Mandatory).
  • Fluent in spoken and written English language.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of applications (EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT, etc.)
  • Expert in Engineering systems such as AMOS, RAMCO, TRAX, etc.
  • Minimum of TEN years of total aircraft maintenance experience, out of which a minimum of 3 years as a certifying staff.
