Maths Teacher

Bloom World Academy, located in the centre of Dubai in a state-of-the-art new building/campus, is seeking to appoint a Maths Teacher for August 2025.

Maths Teacher - The Position

Bloom World Academy is seeking creative and expert practitioners for the role of Maths Teacher.

As an IB educator, you must display a clear commitment to developing international mindedness in your classroom and support the development of this across the school. Experience in, or strong knowledge of, a student-centered inquiry-based learning approach is also required. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and a track record of building and maintaining close professional relationships, as well as display excellent written and verbal communication skills.

We are looking for experienced teachers with a passion for supporting every child to achieve and develop for learning and developing a classroom environment where every child can succeed. You will be able to teach students of all abilities and demonstrate a proven track record of securing outstanding student outcomes.

It is highly desirable that you have experience of the IB programme, albeit not essential, as training will be given. As a practitioner, you should have knowledge and experience in planning rich, engaging, and challenging learning experiences for your students, have a strong knowledge of assessment and its use in the classroom, and most importantly have a passion to stretch students to achieve their potential and beyond.

Required Candidate Profile

1. Proficient/advanced-level English language skills
2. A minimum of 2 years of varied and demonstrable Mathematics teaching experience.
3. Bachelor's degree in Maths or similar, with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
4. Experience in IB MYP/DP/CP or GCSE/A Levels.
5. A minimum of 2 years experience teaching in a reputable school/institution.
6. IB Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Extended Essay (EE) or Reflective Project (RP) experience would also be very valuable.
7. A track record of outstanding student results
8. Experience in teaching the International Baccalaureate is strongly preferred (professional training is provided)
9. Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment and integrity
10. Inter-cultural awareness, well-developed communication skills and excited to engage with students and parents
