You will be responsible for planning and scheduling the materials required to execute the business.

As a Materials Specialist and Inventory professional, your responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing incoming demand: identifying order exceptions, misalignments with product rationalization strategies, and opportunities to utilize existing inventory.
  • Planning and scheduling order timelines to meet customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs.
  • Collaborating with Product Line, Sales, and Service Delivery teams to prioritize delivery dates (push outs, pull ins).
  • Performing material management analyses such as statistical consumption forecasts, aged inventory assessments, purchase order aging, in-transit material analysis, and safety stock evaluations.
  • Implementing inventory stocking strategies.
  • Monitoring safety stock levels, global and aging inventory, and working with regions and manufacturing plants to address issues.
  • Ensuring new assets, repaired assets, and spares are captured within the Sales & Operations Planning process.
  • Assisting in executing continuous improvement projects to maximize value.
