We are constantly growing and are currently looking for experienced Materials Manager for ADNOC Clientto join our top qualified and knowledgeable Project Team in one of Project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

What you will need to do:

  • Material Management:
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials in the warehouse.
    • Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and documented according to company standards.
  • Coordination with Engineering Team:
    • Work closely with the engineering team to understand material requirements for various projects.
    • Provide technical support and recommendations on material selection and usage.
    • Communicate material availability and lead times to the engineering team.
  • Inventory Control:
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to ensure materials are available when needed.
    • Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials to verify quality and compliance with specifications.
    • Address any material quality issues promptly and coordinate with suppliers for resolution.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to improve material handling processes and warehouse efficiency.
    • Implement best practices for material storage, handling, and distribution.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed records of material transactions and usage.
    • Prepare reports on material status, inventory levels, and project requirements.
  • Supplier Coordination:
    • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
    • Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback to ensure high-quality materials.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred or specific degree in Materials Management.
  • Additional certifications such as Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS can be highly advantageous.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in material engineering, warehouse management, or a related field with previous Oil & Gas Experience
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and material handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of material properties, testing methods, and quality standards.
  • Previous experience in large Oil & Gas Projects is required; ADNOC experience is highly preferable.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects.

  • Demonstrate ability to build strong working relationships and manage reporting at Project level with people of various cultures and nationalities.
  • Possesses excellent analytical skills
