Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Dubai is seeking a procurement and production planning professional with 6+ years in manufacturing. You will manage master planning, material processes, schedules, and purchasing needs while ensuring operational alignment with the production plan and KPIs.

You will coordinate with production, procurement and planning teams to secure material availability and mitigate supply constraints. Ideal candidates have ERP planning experience, BOM/PLM knowledge, and strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• 6+ years experience in Procurement, Production Planning & Inventory Management in manufacturing.
• ERP-based planning experience with strong process understanding.
• Strong understanding of production planning, supply chain operations & material management.
• Knowledge of BOM management and PLM systems.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships, operational risks, and delivery commitments.
• Strong English communication (verbal and written).
• This role requires around 10% travel within region.

Job Description Summary

Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials from suppliers and within departments according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. Serves as a key liaison between customers, production teams, engineering, suppliers, and supply chain stakeholders, driving cross-functional alignment, risk mitigation, and operational continuity.

Job Description

• Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.
• Partner with production, procurement, and planning teams to ensure material availability and proactively address supply constraints.
• Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
• Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• Drive and support On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance through proactive planning, effective coordination, and timely issue resolution.
• Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information asks questions and checks for understanding.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
• 6+ years experience in Procurement, Production Planning & Inventory Management within manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in ERP based planning and materials management system with strong understanding of processes
• Strong understanding of production planning, Supply Chain operations & Material management processes
• Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) management and hands-on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships, operational risks, and customer delivery commitments.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• This role requires around 10% travel within region
