Job summary

Air Q Limited is seeking an experienced Material Planner to manage BOM-driven material planning, ordering, availability and tracking for our Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT) operations. The role will help prevent shortages and establish a structured material/job-order tracking process supporting future digitization.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5 years of experience in manufacturing material planning, and hands-on ERP/MRP expertise to enable accurate

Responsibilities

• Own BOM-driven material ordering and availability planning for assembly and testing activities.
• Coordinate with Procurement and suppliers to prevent material shortages and production delays.
• Monitor material availability against production schedules.
• Identify and resolve gaps in material and job-order tracking processes.
• Maintain accurate material stock consumption and order records.
• Support the development and improvement of material tracking processes.
• Coordinate closely with Procurement Planning Warehouse and the shop floor.
• Monitor material risks and flag potential shortages or delays to leadership.

The role will play a key part in ensuring materials are available against the production schedule preventing shortages and establishing a structured material/job-order tracking process that can support future digitization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own BOM-driven material ordering and material availability planning for assembly and testing activities.
• Coordinate with Procurement and suppliers to prevent material shortages and production delays.
• Monitor material availability against production schedules.
• Identify and resolve gaps in the existing material and job-order tracking process.
• Maintain accurate material stock consumption and order records.
• Support the development and improvement of material tracking processes.
• Coordinate closely with Procurement Planning Warehouse and the shop floor.
• Monitor material risks and proactively flag potential shortages or delays to the VP of AIT.
• Ensure BOM ordering accuracy and timely material availability.
• Work with ERP/MRP systems for material ordering tracking and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Industrial Engineering or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5 years of experience in material planning supply chain or production planning preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems for material ordering and tracking is required.
• Strong understanding of BOM-driven material planning.
• Experience in stock/consumption tracking and material reporting.
• Experience in material tracking process improvement or process design.
• Strong coordination skills across Procurement Planning Warehouse and Production/Shop Floor teams.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Process-oriented mindset with the ability to bring structure to evolving processes.
