Job summary
Air Q Limited is seeking an experienced Material Planner to manage BOM-driven material planning, ordering, availability and tracking for our Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT) operations. The role will help prevent shortages and establish a structured material/job-order tracking process supporting future digitization.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5 years of experience in manufacturing material planning, and hands-on ERP/MRP expertise to enable accurate
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in material planning or production planning in manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems for material ordering and tracking.
Responsibilities
- Own BOM-driven material ordering and availability planning for assembly and testing activities.
- Coordinate with Procurement and suppliers to prevent material shortages and production delays.
- Monitor material availability against production schedules.
- Identify and resolve gaps in material and job-order tracking processes.
- Maintain accurate material stock consumption and order records.
- Support the development and improvement of material tracking processes.
- Coordinate closely with Procurement Planning Warehouse and the shop floor.
- Monitor material risks and flag potential shortages or delays to leadership.
