Penspen Specialist in Material Selection & Failure Analysis in Abu Dhabi, UAE, will provide client-based corrosion engineering services, material selection, and failure analysis for oil and gas assets. The role requires extensive experience and ability to deliver robust technical recommendations.

Key responsibilities include OCTG material selection, corrosion risk assessment, LCC justification, and coordinating with ADNOC Offshore.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 15 years in industry with 5 years as consultant or specialist.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering in the relevant discipline.
• NACE Corrosion Specialist Certification or equivalent.
• Professional membership with engineering institute (NACE or MICorr).

Aufgaben

• Failure investigation of in-service plant equipment to determine mechanism and root causes.
• Conduct corrosion risk assessment, material selection and adequacy studies.
• Develop Material Adequacy Reports with mitigations, upgrades and test matrices.
• Identify and specify laboratory tests and analyses; coordinate with ADNOC Offshore as needed.
• Utilize corrosion modelling software and analyses (ECE-5, FE analyses) as applicable.
