Job summary

Want More in Sharjah is seeking a Material Handling Specialist to move materials efficiently and safely within the facility. This full-time role includes operating forklifts, loading/unloading, receiving materials, and maintaining inventory with a strong emphasis on safety.

Ideal candidates are physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have basic English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks.
• Valid forklift certification is an asset.
• English communication skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move materials within the facility.
• Load and unload trucks and containers using proper material handling techniques.
• Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy of shipments.
• Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
• Prepare materials for shipment by packing, labeling and securing items as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and productivity in material handling processes.
